As Media Director at Barrow Raiders RLFC, I led the strategic design and execution of our collaboration with BAE Systems, a key partnership that brought the Advantage! programme to life. This initiative focuses on improving the physical and mental wellbeing of Barrow’s youth community, especially vulnerable and disadvantaged groups, through rugby league and healthy lifestyle initiatives.

The Advantage! programme, supported by BAE Systems and other major partners like the Cumbria Community Foundation and Sport England, now touches over 800 people weekly. My role involved working closely with BAE and other stakeholders to shape the programme’s communications, drive its impact, and ensure its alignment with both community needs and BAE’s broader corporate social responsibility objectives.
